Designed with dog breeders, this whelping box is made of top-quality Finnish birch plywood, and coated with an eco-friendly wax that not only enhances its natural beauty but also makes it easy to clean.

The word “syli” is a Finnish word that translates to “lap” or “embrace” in English. It refers to a space where one can hold or cradle something with care and tenderness, much like how a mother would hold her puppies in the whelping box. The name “Syli” for the whelping box reflects the idea of providing a safe and comfortable space for newborn puppies to thrive and grow, while also conveying a sense of warmth and affection.

This whelping box is designed with every detail for the safety and well-being of your puppies. The floor panel features ventilation holes and is supported by sturdy legs for optimal airflow and hygiene, while a door panel ensures your puppies remain safely contained.

Additionally, this whelping box comes with removable safety rails that, when taken off, allow it to be used as a stylish and comfortable dog bed. With handles, this box is easy to move from room to room as needed.

Our whelping box is designed with a stylish and minimalistic Scandinavian aesthetic, with the wax coating available in a range of neutral colors, white, light grey, black and clear wax to match your home. The eco-friendly wax coating also ensures that it is safe for both your puppies and the environment.

In the near future, we will also be offering additional features designed specifically for the whelping box, such as a roof-like cover to provide added protection, a thermometer to monitor temperature, and a water-resistant mattress with a washable cover to keep your puppies comfortable.
