Simply elegant, timelessly beautiful and ergonomic, the TAIVAL leather dog collar is made from high quality Nordic vegetable tanned leather that will last for years with regular maintenance. This means that no environmentally harmful chemicals or metals have been used in the manufacture of the collar.

The ergonomic wide buckle collar distributes the pressure of the jerks over a larger area of the dog’s neck, making it a safer choice for your canine friend’s neck collar. Wide design. Durable metal buckle won’t break even with the most boisterous of canine friends when outdoors.

Choose a stylish black leather collar with brass metal parts or a timeless brown, cognac-coloured dog collar with chrome-coloured metal parts.

The Polar Barks TAIVAL buckle collar is handcrafted in Finland and made to your dog’s exact measurements. Please indicate your dog’s neck circumference in the “order comments” field on the checkout page of the online shop.

A metal plate (51 x 14 mm) is riveted in the centre of the leather collar, at its widest point. When ordering a collar with your own text, please write your dog’s name in the comments of the order in the form you want it engraved on the collar. The maximum number of characters is 10 (including spaces). Please also note the font size.

SIZE OPTIONS

S – Width 3 cm, neck circumference adjustment +/- 4 cm, over 5 kg for small to medium sized dogs.
M – Width 4 cm, neck circumference adjustable +/- 4 cm, for small and medium sized dogs.
L – Width 5 cm, neck circumference adjustable +/- 4 cm, for medium to large dog

A suitable dog collar is as wide as possible – wider than the two cervical vertebrae of the dog’s neck. However, the collar must not restrict the dog’s normal movement. Measure the circumference of the collar with a tape measure from the middle of the dog’s neck or where you want the collar to fit. Make sure the measurement is snug, but not too tight. There should be room for a couple of fingers between the tape measure and the dog’s neck. If you are ordering a collar for a growing puppy and you want a “growth margin” in the collar, please also indicate this in the “order comments” field. CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To prolong the life of the product, clean the soiled product by hand with a damp cloth. Do not allow to soak in water. Treat the leather regularly with a dog and pet safe leather conditioner such as beeswax. Beeswax prevents the leather from drying out and protects the product from the stress of use.
