The Finnish dog bed UTU DREAMS is designed and manufactured in Finland. The plush bed creates a safe and secure sleeping place for your dog. The soft, plump edge cushions provide a calming head rest for the dog to relax and watch the world go by.

The simplistic Finnish design and natural, muted colors are a perfect match for Nordic interior design and other interior styles. The sofa-like dog bed is designed to withstand the doggy life, year after year. The high quality upholstery fabric won’t wrinkle, stretch, crease or shrink in the wash, and the vibrant surface is forgiving of dog hair. 

Thanks to the soft recycled fiber wadding, used plastic bottles will live on and bring joy to dogs and their family members.

The bed fabrics and padding have been tested in dog homes!

– Wear-resistant furniture fabrics that are easy to remove hair and dirt.

– The hooded cover is removable and machine washable at 30 degrees.

– The cover has no hard metal parts that can damage floors.

– The inner cushion and removable top cushion can be gently hand washed.

– The non-slip fabric prevents the bed from moving on slippery floor surfaces.

– The bed is sewn in Finland. The same manufacturer also makes designer furniture for people. 

– The soft inner cushion wadding is made of 100% recycled polyester fibre from discarded PET bottles. The filling of the pillow cover is made of the same soft cotton. 

The name Utu Dreams comes from the unique Finnish language. Utu means haze and our  design dog bed is inspired by the beautiful Finnish summer days and the soft clouds of mist floating over the fields.

SIZES:

S: 60 x 40 x 15 cm (23.6″ x 15.7″ x 6″), Dog bed for a small dog, e.g. Chihuahua.

Size M: 70 x 50 x 15 cm (27.6″ x 19.7″ x 6″), Dog bed for a small to medium sized dog, e.g. Pomeranian, Shetland sheepdog or cocker spaniel.

L-size: 90 x 70 x 15 cm (35.4″ x 27.6″ x 6″), Dog bed for a medium to large dog, e.g. Samoyed or Labrador Retriever.

Choose the right size bed for your dog by measuring the dog from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail (head + back). A suitable bed is slightly wider than the size of the dog’s body, so that the dog can lie comfortably on the bed even when lying on its side. The bed will take its final shape in use and may be higher than initially indicated. The edges of the Utu Dreams bed are approximately 11cm (4.3″) wide.

Finnish furniture fabric 70% polyester and 30% acrylic. 

The filling of the inner cushion is 100% recycled polyester fiber (PET) and GRS certified polyester.

Cushion fabric 100% polypropylene.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

We recommend washing the fabric wrap in a washing machine at 30 degrees Celsius (90F) with a mild detergent without rinse aid. We do not recommend tumble drying. Dust, hairs and loose dirt should be removed from the surface of the fabric regularly, e.g. by vacuuming, using a rubber glove or a lint-free cloth.

We recommend that the interior cushion is primarily maintained by ventilation and vacuuming, but it can also be hand washed. The mattress in the cushion can be removed for separate washing.

We do not recommend tamping as this may push dust and dirt into the fabric.
